Get the classes you need! Academic advisors are ready to advise you for the upcoming semester. You can meet with them in-person, by phone, by email, and by video. Please reach out to your advisor to schedule an appointment and tell them how you'd like to meet.
Every undergraduate student is assigned an academic advisor to provide ongoing support and helps ensure academic success and timely graduation. The relationship between a student and his or her cademic advisor is one of shared responsibility. While students are ultimately responsible for the choices they make in college, the 快播导航 realizes that in order to make informed decisions, students need the mentoring and advice of academic advisors and others in the 快播导航 community.
Academic advisors work with students to develop and execute educational plans that are aligned with the student鈥檚 personal and academic interests, goals, and career plans.
Academic advisors also help students choose (or change) majors, select and register in appropriate courses, get connected with academic support services such as tutoring and success coaching, explore study abroad options, and participate in career exploration through activities such as internships and undergraduate research experiences.
All academic advisors have offices in the Privateer Enrollment Center (PEC) on the first floor of the Earl K. Long Library.
Advisors have drop-in assistance available on Friday afternoons between 1pm-4pm. Drop-In assistance can help you resolve short (less than 15 minute questions) for current students. Please note, drop-ins are not a substitute for a comprehensive appointment with your academic advisor. Drop-In Assistance is not available during final exam periods, university holidays or closures, summer terms and winter recess.
